DIRECTIONS TO CAMP OFFUTT
From Georgetown:
Take US 62 West through Midway to US 60. Turn
left on to US 60 South and
go to the right at the fork in the road onto US
62 West. Proceed to the first traffic
light past the
Woodford Co. Courthouse on right. Turn right at
traffic light; you will still be on US 62 West.
Continue for 3.5 miles (you will pass the
Sylvania plant and Woodford Co. Park).
Pass Versailles bypass on left.
From Lexington:
Take US 60 North (Versailles Rd.) to the middle
of Versailles (you will be
facing
Woodford Co. Courthouse at intersection). Turn
left onto US 62 West and go to first traffic light.
Turn right at traffic light; you will still be
on US 62 West. Continue for 3.5 miles
(you will pass the Sylvania plant and Woodford
Co. Park).
Pass Versailles bypass on left.
From Nicholasville:
Take US 169 through Keene. Turn right on US 33.
Turn left at 1st light onto Bypass.
Turn left on US 62 West.
After passing Versailles Bypass (on left):
Turn left on Shyrock Ferry Rd. (the New
Hope Baptist Church sits in the “Y” of this intersection).
Go 2.7 miles to the intersection with
Flintville Rd. and turn left. Approximately 1 mile down this
road is Camp Offutt. You may see a marker at
the gate “Old Scout Place”.
Don’t be fooled. The road will become a paved
narrow lane. Camp Offutt is now private property and the road becomes
a private drive. Keep going! When you begin to
wonder, you are almost there.
Check-in will be just inside the gate. Camp and
parking are over the hill to your right.
